A new documentary exploring revival among Generation Z has premiered at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The Revival Generation, produced by Abigail Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), highlights the wave of campus revivals that have drawn thousands of students to prayer, worship, and spontaneous baptisms in recent years.

The film features testimonies from church leaders, families, and young people about the unique challenges facing Gen Z, including identity struggles, mental illness, and isolation.

Former U.S. Housing Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, who appears in the documentary, described the current climate as “the toughest time to be a young person.”

Tim Robertson, son of the late evangelist Pat Robertson, told The Christian Post: “Young people are looking at some of the values they've been given from a very permissive generation that's older, and they want to find some stability in their lives. And obviously Christianity gives them that stability, and it gives them a rock and an anchor.”

Producer Abigail Robertson believes this generation is approaching Christianity with fresh eyes, saying: “They feel the love of Jesus Christ, and that's what they want. They want more of it. It feels real, it's authentic.”
