Churches across America have given away thousands of dollars worth of fuel to hundreds of motorists.
As gas prices rise both in the UK and in the United States, churches in the US have decided to get involved.
A pastor from Kingdom City Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brian Carn, decided to give away $35 gas cards to more than 300 motorists last Saturday.
The average price of gas in the US is above $4 per gallon.
He spent a total of $10,000 from his personal finances for the event he called 'Gas on God.'
The church shared a video to Facebook, showing large queues form in the street in front of the gas station, with many waiting to receive the free gas.
One Motorist in the video said: "Once I got here, you could just feel his Holy Spirit and his kindness just all around."
Pastor Carn within the video thanked everyone in the church who came to help, he said within the video on the day of the event: "I am extremely grateful for what we was able to do.
"As you notice, so many people's lives were touched today.
"You got an opportunity to experience what I get to experience as a result of changing the lives that God has allowed me to change.
"You were able to minister to people. One lady came and said, 'I don't need gas. I just need prayer.'"
