The mother of Christian singer and songwriter Anne Wilson has praised God after her daughter is nominated for six Dove Awards, as part of this year's GMA Dove Awards ceremony.

In an Instagram video, Wilson is talking to her mum on the phone while the nominations are revealed. 

Reacting to the news, Wilson's mum Lynn says: "I can't believe what God has done. 

"That's so incredible!" 

Accompanying the Instagram post, Wilson wrote: "You guys!! I'm so honoured to be nominated for SIX Dove Awards. 

"Thank you to everyone who supports my music and has been on this journey with me. This is incredible!"

Wilson, released her debut album "My Jesus" in April 2022 and has been nominated for Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year, and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Wilson has previously shared how she discovered God's calling for her life at her brother's funeral.
