Ezra Collective, fronted by Christian drummer Femi Koleoso, are billed to play Glastonbury this year.
Fresh off their first BRIT win for band of the year, it will be the second time the band plays Glastonbury - the first was in 2023.
Koleoso began his BRIT acceptance speech with: "First and foremost, let me thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” before paying tribute to youth clubs and schools which encourage young people to explore music.
The band met at youth jazz programme Tomorrow’s Warriors, and have since won the prestigious Mercury Prize for emerging artists in 2023.
Among their hits are ‘God Gave Me Feet for Dancing’ (ft Yazmin Lacey), which Barack Obama listed as one of his top songs of 2024.
Lacey sings:
“God gave me feet for dancing
And that's exactly what I'll do,
Give me high life,
Give me good times,
God gave me feet for dancing.”
The quintet will play Glastonbury alongside headliners Olivia Rodrigo, the 1975 and Neil Young
