By Tuesday morning the tweet garnered almost 11,000 likes and almost 2,000 retweets supporting her statement and encouraging her to still be open about her faith.
LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I notice that with a lot of interviews where people give the glory to God - Some TV interviews do it too, by either cutting the interview abruptly or glossing over it to move on quickly. But like you said, regardless He will STILL receive the glory

I don't understand why are magazines doing this. They may not believe in God but you do and you know God helped you through thick and thin. Its your belief and they shouldn't cut it out just because more and more people are being atheists(me included).

In February 2019, Wright won the BAFTA's rising star award. During her speech she thanked God for pulling her out of depression.
The 25-year-old started her speech saying: "I identity myself as a child of God and I can't get up here without thanking God.
"A few years ago I saw myself in a deep state of depression and I literally wanted to quit acting. The only thing that pretty much pulled me out of that was God, my belief, my faith and my family - and an email from BAFTA saying that they want me to be part of the Breakthrough Brits and I was like 'let me try again.'"
Wright is set to star in the film "Death On The Nile" which will be released next year.
