A Chinese Christian-convert is set to build a life-sized ark in central Canada.
Businessman Wenqing Sun converted from Buddhism to Christianity in 2014 and is preparing to build a £900,000 ($1.2 million) replica of Noah's Ark in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Mr Sun has already constructed a life-size Bible theme park in northern China, according to his colleague Marc L'Hoir, who also manages the Sunset Cemetery located next to a site approved for the ark.
Mr L'Hoir told CBC News: "He actually converted from Buddhism to Christianity and this is just part of his spreading the word of Christianity throughout the world."
"You know how many people go to Vatican City? How many people go to Jerusalem to the Wailing Wall? So, once the word gets out and we start marketing it, I think it'll be a real tourist attraction for Moose Jaw," said.
"Hopefully people want to be buried there."
The ark is expected to be 136m long, 23m wide and 13m high.
It is due to take around four years to complete.
Earlier in 2016 a bigger ark, 'The Ark Encounter' was opened by Ken Ham in Kentucky, USA.
