The dean of an Evangelical seminary in Kiev has been confirmed as one of the hundreds found dead in Bucha.

As Russian troops abandoned areas outside Kiev, hundreds of bodies were found in the streets and in open graves. As of Monday, the Ukrainian government reported they found at least 300 civilians dead.

Vitaly Vinogradov was the academic dean of the Kyiv Slavic Evangelical Seminary, responsible for the management of the seminary.

The institution confirmed his death on Facebook: "Vitaliy Vinogradov our dear brother and co-worker was found dead in Bucha.

"There are no words to express the sorrow of our hearts. He will be greatly missed!"

The post was accompanied by various photos of Vinogradov, including one which appears to be of his corpse being found.

The senior pastor of the seminary, John Byeong Beom Kim, described him as "a wonderful man and an invaluable employee".

He wrote on Facebook: "Bright memory to my dear brother and academic dean of the Kiev Slavic Evangelical Seminary!

"Vinogradov Vitaly Vladimirovich 1974-2022, was killed by the Russian occupiers in his hometown of Bucha.

"It is a pity, I grieve together with my family, relatives and friends and the whole of Ukraine."

The Ukrainian government has accused Russia of war crimes and genocide in Bucha. Russia denies any wrongdoing.
