The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has escaped injury following an armed car-jacking.
According to police, the attacked happened Sunday night when Cardinal Orani Joao Tempesta was being driven with two friends through the north of the city.
He took to the role in 2009 and was appointed Cardinal in 2014.
It is the second armed attack against the Archbishop in the past year, according to The Times.
