Boy says he was in heaven while brain dead

by Tola Mbakwe

The parents of Trenton McKinley from Mobile, Alabama said that he "came back to life" just after they signed paperwork to donate his organs.

"Five kids needed organs that matched him," said his mother Jennifer Reindl. "It was unfair to keep bringing him back, because it was just damaging his organs even more."

According to local Fox news station WALA, Trenton woke up a day before doctors were going to take him off life support.

The teen said he was in heaven while he was brain dead.

"I was in an open field walking straight," Trenton said. "There's no other explanation but God. There's no other way. Even doctors said it."

Trenton is recovering from seven skull fractures after falling from car trailer which flipped over in March.
