The Church of England's first female bishop's has used her inaugural public appearance as bishop to campaign against human trafficking.
Rt Rev Libby Lane's said the operation will see airport staff given training to identify vulnerable passengers and look out for typical signs of trafficking as part of the Travel Safe Week initiative.
Unveiling the initiative with Christian campaign organisation, Stop the Traffik, Bishop Libby said: "We hope that the publicity and the information in and around the airport will give those people courage and hope to be to turn to people who may be able to help them."
In 2014 the National Crime Agency said the number of potential victims of human trafficking in the UK increased by 22% between 2012 and 2013, with 55 cases identified in Scotland.
Across the UK, it is estimated that 2,744 people, including 602 children, were potential victims of trafficking last year.
The agency said victims came from countries including Poland, Slovakia, Thailand, Vietnam, Ghana and Nigeria.
Romania was the most common country of origin, with nine cases in Scotland.
Bishop Libby made history last month when she was ordained as the eighth Bishop of Stockport in a service at York Minster.
