'Jesus becomes the prize': Bieber shares Christian message with 108 million followers

by Rachel Huston

Pop star Justin Bieber offered some spiritual encouragement to his 108.3 million followers on X today, sharing a theological reflection on Jesus and grace.

The 31-year-old singer wrote that Jesus teaches our efforts in life "are simply a response to the gifts of life and forgiveness."

"Jesus becomes the prize," he said. "And growth becomes something you desire because of the grace we have received."

Bieber, who was baptized in 2014, has often spoken about how his Christian faith has reshaped his life. His wife, Hailey Bieber, is also a practising believer, and the couple often speak publicly about their faith.

The father-of-one’s post quickly gained traction, attracting more than 22 million views.

Bieber is among the most-followed people on X, consistently ranking in the platform’s top 10 accounts worldwide and holding the title of most-followed musician.

He currently attends Churchome, a non-denominational Christian congregation in Seattle and Los Angeles, and was previously connected with Hillsong Church.
