Suzanne Hinn, wife of televangelist Benny Hinn, has filed for divorce from her husband.
The filing was made in Hillsborough County Court in Tampa, Florida.
This isn't the first time Suzanne has sought legal separation from Benny Hinn; she previously filed for divorce in 2010 citing "irreconcilable differences" after 30 years of marriage.
In a message on his ministry's website, Hinn wrote that "Suzanne started taking certain prescription medications to help her cope with some of her personal struggles. She became dependent on those for nearly 15 years, and those medications made her behave erratically at times.
"As her husband, I did not know the extent of her reliance on these medications, nor did I fully understand just how much harm they were causing to her, physically and emotionally.”
The couple, who first wed in 1979 and share four children, faced public scrutiny when Benny Hinn was photographed with fellow televangelist Paula White, although Hinn denied any affair.
Despite reconciling and remarrying in 2013, Suzanne's recent filing has reopened discussions about their relationship.
According to The Christian Post, The filing in the Hillsborough County Court in Tampa, Florida, shows the televangelist having an address in Palm Coast, Florida, while his wife listed a home in Longwood, Florida, valued at more than $1m (£779.100)
Benny Hinn, known for his controversial prosperity gospel teachings, recently claimed to have renounced such doctrines. He's also been embroiled in controversies regarding his ministry's financial appeals amidst global crises.
