A U.S. pastor has claimed that Barron Trump is “very close” to declaring his Christian faith after what he described as a late-night conversation with the president’s son.

Speaking during an interview on The George Janko Show on December 4, pastor Stuart Knechtle said Barron moved from skepticism to interest, telling him, “That’s a very, very interesting point,” after hearing stories of missionary work and what the pastor called “eyewitness testimony.”

According to The Independent, it is not clear when the alleged call took place or whether the pastor and the 19-year-old have ever met.

Barron, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, is currently living at the White House while attending New York University’s Washington campus.

His father has previously said that Barron helped connect the 2024 Trump campaign with influential Christian and conservative podcasts that resonated with younger male voters.

Knechtle, who has millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram, has been active in conservative Christian spaces, and both he and his father, pastor Cliffe Knechtle, prayed publicly for Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential race.
