A Christian worship song sees light after 22 years

by Premier Journalist

Howard Dobson whose songs have been sung in 1,000 churches around the world, has finally released a song he wrote in 1998.

The songwriter revealed that he wrote A New Creation while decorating his office in Durham Street, Hull. At that time he used drums and bass to create a sound of the 90s.

Over the years the song went through some changes and now twenty-two years later, award-winning gospel artist Stuart Menzies Farrant recorded the lead and backing vocals.

"I came across the song file recently while moving back to the UK… I made a few more edits and then asked Stuart if he'd be able to add the vocals" Dobson said.

"I'm really pleased with how it's turned out… It's a fast-paced tune that is fun to sing and ideal for family church services," Dobson added.

Howard started writing Christian worship songs while living in Hull for 10 years.

The track 'A New Creation' is a now available for free.
