Westminster Abbey has rejected the suggestion that it's offering discounts in its shop to visitors who've been vaccinated.
An accusation was made on Twitter by Suzanne Evans, a former chair of UKIP.
Posting a picture of a sign outside the famous landmark which says 10 per cent discount available to those who show their vaccination card, she said: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus," says the Bible. But if you're unvaccinated, we will treat you like a second-class citizen, you awful, unclean thing, says @wabbeyshop"
Her post received hundreds of comments and retweets.
In a statement to Premier, Westminster Abbey has said the discount was available when the Abbey was used as a vaccination centre earlier this year but the offer has not been available since.
There's growing concern that those who choose not to get vaccinated, won't get the same freedoms as those who do.
The government has already indicated that it will make use of vaccine passports for large gatherings after the summer.
