WATCH: Tyson Fury's prayer moments before heavyweight title clash

The British fighter, who regularly speaks of his Christian faith, got up from two knockdowns to score a draw with American Deontay Wilder, with most viewers claiming he should have been awarded the victory.

The fight capped a remarkable comeback from Fury who gave up his world titles after a battle with drugs and mental health issues.

In his time away from the ring, it's reported he ballooned to 28 stone.

An underdog going into the fight with big hitter Deontay Wilder, Fury rose from the canvas after being floored in the final round - a move which was described as "miraculous" by journalists.

Speaking after the fight, Fury said: "I don't know how I got up...I had a holy hand upon me."

His trainer Ben Davison also claimed it was "the man upstairs" who helped him up.

In the aftermath of the fight, a behind the scenes video showing Fury in a huddle with his team moments before entering the ring at the Staples Center in Los Angeles was released by YouTube boxing channel IFL TV.

He's seen praying: "In the mighty name of Jesus, give me strength and power tonight, Lord.

"Let both men come out of the ring very well and go back to their families safe.

"As I walk through the shadow of death I will fear no evil. Amen."

Fury then hands over to a Muslim member of his team who prays in Arabic and asks Allah to 'give us the victory'.

Fury ends the huddle shouting 'Let's go to war!'.
