Christians in Ukraine have continued to worship amid the destruction caused by Russian drone strikes.

A video shared online shows believers singing with a guitar in front of ruined residential buildings.

Among the damaged homes was that of Mark Sergeev, son of Pastor Viktor Sergeev, who leads Melitopol Christian Church.

The strikes mark the second time Pastor Viktor has lost his home. He had been staying with his son after Melitopol was seized by Russian forces, and their church building was occupied by soldiers, who removed the cross from its roof.

Despite the destruction, Mark expressed gratitude to God that his children were unharmed in the attack.

The video was shared by Ukrainian-born Oregon pastor Vlad Savchuk.

“These believers are worshipping in the very place meant for their death,” Savchuk said. “Their faith moves me deeply. Let’s stand with Ukraine in prayer and generosity.”
