Children as young as 10 are sending each other indecent images through their phones, according to a series of surveys on so called 'sexting'.
There are fresh concerns that the increased amount of inappropriate images available to childen online is contributing to the problem.
One of the surveys was conducted by the STAR project in Southampton, which questioned Year 9 students.
