Soul Survivor's Andy Croft gives update on baby's heart surgery

The senior pastor of Soul Survivor in Watford said two-month old Caleb can look forward to "many birthdays" thanks to the medical care he has received.

He tweeted: "So pleased & proud to have my son Caleb the Warrior home after heart surgery! So grateful to God & all who have prayed..."

The Anglican clergyman, who is in his early 30s, urged people to pray for Caleb's after announcing his birth in mid-May.

Updating supporters at the weekend, he continued: "Also so grateful for all those who have supported us with kindness, food, babysitting & by asking how we are..."

"And to the NHS - Wow. Surgeons, nurses, doctors, administrators everyone. Thank you so much. You made sure Caleb will see many birthdays - happy birthday NHS!"

Andy and his wife Beth, who is a Christian musician and singer, have two other children; Josiah and Judah.

National Health Service's 70th anniversary was marked at Westminster Abbey on Thursday 5th July 2018 during a service attended by guests including the Countess of Wessex.
