Singer Robbie Williams says his coronavirus symptoms went away after prayer

by Tola Mbakwe

Robbie Williams has credited God for his symptoms of coronavirus symptoms disappearing.

He said that he went into self-isolation after a trip to Australia last month because he noticed himself getting ill.

The singer told the Sun on Sunday that when he returned to Los Angeles, he locked himself away in an Air BnB near his home to avoid possibly infecting his wife and children.

Williams said he spent days fearful about the coronavirus outbreak and then decided to turn to God in prayer.

"I could feel my body was getting lethargic and tired and heavy and I convinced myself I'd got coronavirus," he told The Sun on Sunday.

"I never normally do it but I got down on my knees and prayed. Within 30 seconds I had lifted my vibration and was in love.

"And you know what? The symptoms went away and the fear went away.

"I've now safeguarded myself against lower energies, against feelings of worthlessness."

Williams said prayer is vital for him as he can become depressed at times.

He added that prayer and meditation help him not give in to "temptations of those negative thoughts and feelings."
