The money for the Methodist Central Hall in Paisley, Renfrewshire (above), will help ensure the Category B List landmark will not fall into disrepair.
Unveiling funding worth £565,000 for 36 churches nationwide, Eddie Tulasiewicz from the National Churches Trust (NCT) told Premier: "We give money to make sure those churches remain open because if a church has to close, it basically never reopens again."
Areas of the roof at the Methodist Central Hall in Paisley will be renewed thanks to the Cornerstone Grant from the NCT, while stonework, chimneys and windows will also be upgraded.
Other churches to benefit from the new packing unveiled on Thursday include St Eugene's Church in Cappagh, County Omagh, which is getting £15,000 top help fund the treatment of roof timbers affected by woodworm.
Eddie Tulasiewicz added "Of the 36 grants that we're giving, 16 are to rural churches - they really do need an awful lot of help because the number of people going there is so small."
Meanwhile, there are hopes people living All Saints Church in the Stand area of Manchester are a step closer to being able to enjoy its bell-ringing once again, thanks to a £10,000 grant to help make the Grade I listed church's tower safe.
Huw Edwards, BBC broadcaster and Vice President of The National Churches Trust, said: "The funding will help ensure that more churches and chapels can continue to flourish at the heart of their communities by safeguarding their architecture and making sure their facilities are up to date."
