Premier Christian Radio plans to match people with places this Christmas via a nationwide on-air campaign.
Churches, charities, clubs, and other organisations are being asked to come forward on-line with details of any localised Christmas Day activities planned so that people in the area can find on what's happening in their region.
The 'Alone at Christmas' campaign will highlight venues and locations that people can go to all over the UK so that those who might otherwise be alone, can meet up with others on Christmas Day.
Premier Drive presenter Loretta Andrews, who is behind the idea, said that she hoped to produce a truly countrywide list of places for people to spend Christmas Day with others in their own home town: "It's a big ask but it's not nice for anyone to be alone, especially at Christmas.
"This is a great way for the Church to show the love of God in a practical way at Christmas time.
"We are confident that the scheme will receive the broad levels of support it has enjoyed in recent years."
Organisations with a venue to promote can complete an on-line form here.
