Prayers as Poland remembers late president and other plane crash victims

A special day of ceremonies is being held amid fresh accusations the crash near an airport in Smolensk was the result of a conspiracy by Russia and Poland's government at the time.

The claim has been made by the ruling Law and Justice party, which is led by the late president's twin brother, Jaroslaw Kaczynski (pictured above).

Despite official investigations by Poland and Russia concluding the crash was an accident caused by crew mistakes as the aircraft tried to land in heavy fog, Jaroslaw Kaczynski claims to have evidence which "almost certainly" shows the plane was attacked.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski attended a ceremony at the Powazki cemetery his wife Maria in Warsaw today to remember the sixth anniversary of the crash.
