A Nigerian priest has been abducted from his home in the central-southern part of the country, according to sources in the area.
Agenzia Fides has reported that Don Innocent Umor, was kidnapped from his parish in Ikanepo, in the diocese of Idah, in Kogi State.
The local media source claim it happened in the early morning of May 4th, when five armed men attacked the parish house.
Agenzia Fides has also reported that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 4 million Naira (around £12,900).
Police in the region are investigating.
