Coronavirus is sweeping through nations and a third of humanity is currently in lockdown to try and flatten the curve and slow the spread of the virus.
Doctors, nurses and other medical staff are on the front line of the pandemic, treating patients with the virus and still treating others who are seriously ill and need to be in hospital at the same time.
Nurses in New York were on their knees in prayer this week as they prayed for healing and strength as they continued to work to save lives.
As of Monday, New York State has 1,218 deaths, with more than 66,000 cases.
Nurses prayed at work in the hospital for "divine healing" from the virus for their patients. The prayer has been videoed and posted on Twitter.
"Grant us favour as we seek your face oh God, no other face but the name of Jesus", a nurse prayed.
She went on to pray for people who are "dying alone" because they cannot be with their families.
Official figures from the Centers of Disease and Prevention on Monday showed confirmed Covid-19 cases in the United States stood at 140,904 and total deaths 2,405.
