Those part of the Love London Campaign movement held a prayer walk from Westminster Pier to London Bridge on Saturday.
The founder of the movement, Rachel Eyitayo, told Premier the group was birthed by a group of young Christians who saw a need for love 'among fear, darkness and confusion.'
She said: "We just felt something stirring up. We had to do something, yes you can give money, but we want to make God's presence present visibly and just pray for the nation and intercede on their behalf".
At the end of the walk, the group sang worship and praise songs near where hundreds of flowers lay in honour of the victims of the London Bridge terror attack.
Eyitayo said the group chose to centre the event on John 4:11.
She said: "The reason we chose this is because of God love for us and the fact that he saved and he chose us to be his ambassadors here. We want to show other people that love."
