Less than three weeks after Bible teacher and podcaster Mike Winger released a nearly six-hour exposé criticizing Bethel Church leaders over their handling of prophetic minister Shawn Bolz, he has released another video announcing he will fund a $100,000 investigation into evangelist Todd White.

White is a well-known American preacher and the founder of ministry organization Lifestyle Christianity, based in Texas. A former drug addict and atheist who converted to Christianity in 2004, he has since ministered in charismatic circles, is self-described as prophetic and has built a public profile through his healing ministry.

According to Winger, however, things are not as they appear behind the scenes at White’s ministry.

In a nearly five-hour video, Winger claims to have amassed years’ worth of evidence and witness statements from members of White’s church.

There is also currently a “Todd White Petition” circulating online with more than 1,300 signatures, which calls on Lifestyle Christianity to drop all non-disclosure agreements, stop silencing individuals, and submit to an independent investigation.

In his video, Winger accuses White of lacking accountability structures from the church’s board, with witnesses reporting that White has asked supporters of his ministry to make checks payable to him personally rather than to Lifestyle Christianity.

Additional allegations raised by Winger include:

  • Faking fasting and embellishing stories of healing, including allegations of falsified water fasts and exaggerated healing testimonies.

  • Receiving a salary exceeding $500,000 per year, funded by donations.

  • Excessive spending, including refusing to fly in economy or other lower-tier seating, opting for first class even on short flights.

  • Refusing to take a pay cut during financial crises, despite other senior staff members doing so.

  • Gossiping and sharing details of staff members’ personal lives, and using this information to manipulate others.

Premier Christian News has contacted Lifestyle Christianity for comment on Winger’s allegations. Neither the church nor White had responded at the time of publication.
