Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly have faced extreme backlash from Christians after they dressed as a priest and a worshipper in lingerie.

The couple posted photos of themselves in their outfits on Instagraml Megan wore PVC black bondage, whilst tied to a chain lead and receiving communion from her fiancé.

Christian followers were quick to accuse the couple of mocking their faith, labelling the post as "abhorrent and offensive."

One follower said: "Why is that all you celebs mock Christianity? What's the agenda? And why you y'all hate God so much? I guess the devil is real."

Another person wrote: "What happened to cultural appropriation? Why is it wrong to dress up as an Indian but okay to mock the Catholic faith.

"It's absolutely abhorrent and offensive and I'm so sick of the double standards."

Machine Gun Kelly was dressed in a Catholic priest's robe, whilst placing a communion wafer in Megan's mouth.

Within Megan's posts, they were captioned "on Sundays we take communion," with emojis of prayer hands and rosary beads.
