A March for Jesus will go ahead in Belfast later this month, after parties at Belfast City Hall agreed that the council could host the event.
A previous march scheduled for June had to be cancelled due to overwhelming demand.
The march is scheduled for August 23rd in Ormeau Park.
All Nation Church anticipates 10,000 people to take to the streets. A council report states the event will be “non-political” and “family friendly”.
“Final numbers will be determined by All Nation Church, through outreach and engagement with churches across Ireland.”
March for Jesus is part of a worldwide movement, which sees Christians publicly declaring their faith by praising on the streets, and waving banners as they walk together.
