American social media personality, actor, boxer, and WWE professional wrestler Logan Paul recently broke the world record for the highest-selling Pokémon card, selling it for $16 million. Just before the historic sale, Paul said a prayer on the stream and used the name of Jesus.

"Dear God, Creator ... Universe ... Jesus, thank you for bringing us all together today for an exciting moment as we all experience history together in one place," Paul said in his prayer.

He continued: "This is really what the hobby is all about ... God, if it is your will, whatever blessings you bestow upon us, we are happy to accept with open arms."

Then, Paul made history with his $16 million Pokémon card.

The video has sparked a lot of conversation online, particularly regarding his past comments about Christianity and beliefs. In one viral video, Paul was having a conversation with his friend, George Janko. when he said that he believed Janko needed a therapist for believing in Jesus.

"No, I didn't," Paul replied when Janko explained that he was hurt by the comment. "I said you needed a therapist because Jesus isn't doing it for you ... I don't believe that you are as emotionally mature as you could be."

Paul followed up with a video, apologising to both Janko and Christians, who were offended by his comments.

"I said some pretty out-of-line comments to George about George's beliefs," Paul said. "The last three weeks have been the hardest period of my f*****g life. Ironically, I defamed Jesus and God, and I felt his wrath."

As YouTuber Daniel Adams pointed out, Janko remained steadfast in praying for Paul to get closer to Jesus.

"To see him praying like that is amazing," Adams said. "I think this is beautiful and it's a step in the right direction."
