Club chaplain Revd Andrew Hulley has offered players pre-match prayers "to help keep them focused and more mindful."
Revd Hulley told The Daily Star: "The players are embracing the spirituality no matter what their faith and it's helping their game.
"They think they can win the title, so do I."

The vicar, from Kings Church in Loughborough, Leicester, says there is lots of fun within the team.
He said: "Jamie's [Vardy] a joker.
"Whenever he sees me he comes over and says: 'Father forgive me, I have sinned.' "
The team were not predicted to get this far in the league and last summer some betting agents were even odds of 5,000 to one for Leicester to win the league.
