Andy Jones from the Leicester Royal Infirmary told Premier the Foxes lifting the trophy on Saturday has been a talking point and "a good news story for the whole city."
He said: "As chaplains, we get alongside people and help them with their concerns. If they're a football supporter then obviously that can be something positive to draw on and encourage them with."
The chaplian added wards and day-rooms had been decorated in the Leicester City Football City colours of blue and white, to boost morale.
Andy Jones has been speaking at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust said hospitals in the city were "feeling the effect" of the teams' victory.
In a statement, the Trust said: "Last night and this morning, we have seen twice as many patients in our Emergency Department than we would normally on a Saturday night/Sunday morning.
"The majority are being treated for minor injuries or alcohol related incidents. We expected it to be incredibly busy this weekend and have the necessary plans in place to safely treat our patients.
"A plea is for those who do not need to come into A and E to call NHS 111 for healthcare advice."
