WATCH: 'Jesus is the foundation': actor Jamie Foxx impressively recites books of Old Testament

Actor and singer Jamie Foxx has displayed his impressive Biblical knowledge during a recent video call with fellow actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Fox, who is known for his portrayal of Ray Charles in 'Ray', along with a starring role in 'Django Unchained'. Foxx talked candidly about his faith in Jesus, reeling off the books of the Old Testament.

The Zoom interview — which was part of the promo for their latest movie, 'Project Power' — featured Foxx answering questions taken from Google's auto-fill function. One of them was "is Jamie Foxx vegan", to which Foxx responded:

"Actually I'm baptist, and I've been baptist my whole life. To me, Jesus is the foundation." 

Foxx said that he had "nothing against other vegans", joking that he "doesn't know where they go as far heaven and hell is concerned".

"But I know where I'm going as far as heaven is concerned," Foxx continued, before speedily reciting books of the Old Testament:

"It's about Jesus, ok?" Foxx concluded. "Nothing against vegans, but we're going to heaven over here."
