Host, actor and comedian James Corden presented the first of three special episodes of the US programme filmed in central London.
He opened the first episode by commenting on recent terror attacks to target the capital and Manchester, saying the nation is "not a country that feels afraid".

Corden also said: "Some people might say it is a strange time to do a variety show from this city. I couldn't disagree more."
The 38 year old was joined on the light-hearted show by celebrities including Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, David Beckham and Ed Sheeran.

The programme draw praise on social media with one Twitter user writing: "@JKCorden what fun I'm having watching your show!! You are just the spoon full of medicine that the UK needs! Welcome back."
Another said: "I love watching his show! What a bright light in a dark world!"

Wednesday's hour-long instalment including a carpool karaoke session with Ed Sheeran and an edition of Crosswalk Musical which portrayed Mary Poppins alongside Sir Ben Kingsley.
The two remaining Late Late Show special London episodes will be broadcast at 10pm on Sky 1 and Now TV on Thursday and Friday.
