Evelyn Celgy was rushed to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre after the accident outside the city's Capital FM Arena earlier this month. She'd been with her family who were attending the Sehion UK Catholic bible convention.
Following her death, the family released a statement through Nottinghamshire Police: "Sadly our dearest daughter passed away at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, on Saturday at 7pm.
"Evelyn was involved in a tragic Road Traffic Collision earlier that same day.
"We would like to pass our sincere thanks to Nottinghamshire Police, the paramedics, A & E staff and staff on the P.I.C.U ward at the hospital for all their compassion, sympathy, support and care provided.
"Special thanks to the hospital Chaplain who was a great source of comfort.
Speaking at Nottingham Coroner's Court on Friday, Coroner Mairin Casey said: "Shortly after alighting from the car, there was a collision and Evelyn sustained serious injuries."
The hearing will be held in full in September.
