The Googlebox star said the "sheer exhaustion ...just seems to disappear" when she arrives and she takes a moment alone afterwards to contemplate a "sense of God's creation, God's wonder and God's love."
She has been sharing what makes Christmas a joyous occasion for her in a new video by the Church of England, which is encouraging people to attend a local parish Christmas service.
Rev Bottley explains how she juggles looking after her family, leading Christingle services, wrapping presents, helping someone put up their Christmas tree and prepare Christmas dinner.
In the video, she also says: "My moment of Christmas joy happens on Christmas Eve, when I come out of a busy church, to stand alone in the empty churchyard.
"This sense of God's creation, God's wonder and God's love ...a sense of the birth of Jesus.
"In that beautiful moment, I'm overwhelmed with joy and happiness; overwhelmed with laughter and all I can do is scream at the top of my voice 'Merry Christmas!'"
