High profile American Pastor endorses Trump

With just days until the US Presidential election, Jeff Vines from Christ's Church of the Valley in Arizona has told Premier that he is planning to vote for Trump.

He admitted that there was no ideal candidate for Christians in this election but that he has decided to support Trump because of his more conservative values.

Vines said: "I believe [Trump] will at least nominate Supreme Court justices that will favour a more moral position when we talk about issues like abortion, same sex marriage and legalising marijuana."

Speaking on Inspirational Breakfast this morning Vines, a minister of a church with over 25,000 members, warned that Christians were "at war" over the election.

"You've got the Republican Christians saying to Democrat Christians: 'How can you possibly vote for Hillary Clinton knowing all the scandals she's been involved in?' and Democrats responding 'How can you vote for a man who devalues women?' "

The US election will take place on November 8th.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is currently leading in most polls.
