Christian actor and producer Kevin Sorbo claims he was blacklisted in Hollywood due to his faith and his conservative views.

The 64-year-old actor, best known for his leading role in "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" shared his thoughts with Fox News in the US, as he promoted his new faith-based movie ‘Miracle in East Texas’.

Sorbo claimed his agency dropped him as a client because of his Christian beliefs: “It was sad to me, you know, my manager and agent for so many years said that we can't get you jobs anymore [or] work with you because of you being a Christian, being a conservative."

'We have such a huge divide in our country right now, and it's perpetuated by the mainstream media - by movies, TV,” he added “I don't harbour that kind of anger and hatred towards people. I have a different point of view."

Earlier this year Sorbo had both his Facebook page and LinkedIn profile removed as a result of controversial content he was posting online, including theories on the COVID-19 pandemic, voter fraud and the January 6th riots in 2021 in Washington DC, after Donald Trump lost in the Presidential election to Joe Biden.

Facebook told Fox News his page was taken down for “repeatedly sharing debunked claims".

His latest release, created by his own production company tells the story of two con men who try to convince a group of widows to invest in worthless oil wells during the Great Depression.  In the storyline, while the hustlers are facing trial for their crimes, the widows choose to forgive them rather than testify against them.

Premier has not yet verified Sorbo's comments about being dropped.  We have reached out to his former agent, for a response to the actor's claims.
