Pop star Justin Bieber has posted a personal prayer to help give voice to those struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
Dear Lord," he writes. "There is so much going on in the world...so much that is upsetting and beyond my control. Please help me to cast my cares on you. Help me turn my worry into prayer time.
"Please help all who are dealing with tragedies, illness, adversity and losses. Please put your angels about those who are in harm's way. Please pour out your blessings on all who are in need and help us all to find your peace that passes understanding.
"Thank you for being with me each moment of this day. In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen."
This isn't the first time Bieber has used Instagram to share messages of hope and faith during this season of crisis.
Earlier this month, he teamed up with LA pastor Rich Wilkerson for an in-depth chat about the gospel of Jesus Christ .
"The most important thing to be grateful for is having that hope for your soul," Bieber said during the broadcast.
“My future is secure knowing that I’m forgiven, I’m saved, I’m set free from my past. I don’t have to live in sin or shame; I can live free.
"The good news is that no matter who you are or what you’ve done, no matter how bad you think you are or how messed up you think your life is…God is not afraid of your mess! He wants you to come with open arms and accept what he’s done for you.
“It’s as simple as just saying ‘Jesus, I accept what you did for me, I believe you are God, and I ask you to forgive me for my sins.”
The multi-award-winning artist has 133 million followers on Instagram, which places him in the top 20 most-followed accounts in the world. He is married to Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), the daughter of actor and committed Christian, Stephen Baldwin.
