The power of faith was a main focus for Eric Trump, Tuesday as he took to the campaign trail for his father in Georgia.
The second son of President Donald Trump told the crowd, estimated at around half a million, that: "God got us here."
"I really believe that he was a chosen person. In the Bible, it's always an imperfect person, and my father has said things that have gotten him in trouble time and time again."
Kate Shellnut, reporter from Christianity Today magazine attended the event and covered proceedings on the ground along with posting on Twitter, quotes from Eric Trump's speech.
Eric Trump also spoke of his father receiving God's favour, as covered by CBS.
"I really believe my father was put here for a reason. I believe it was because of a higher deity, entity, I really believe that. I believe it is why the Evangelical community has rallied around him."
The Evangelicals for Trump rally was held outdoors in Cumming, Georgia. Other speakers included the president's pastor, Paula White who spoke about the president's accomplishments and Evangelical advisor, Tony Suarez, who praised what he referred to as the prosperity encountered by Hispanic Americans under Trump.
The prayer section began with 2 Chronicles 7:14, a popular verse among the Trump campaign and administration.
The Faith and Freedom Coalition were present at the event handing out leaflets comparing President Trump to his Democratic rival, Joe Biden.
