Edward Owen, pastor of Hamburg International Church said during News Hour what Christians should do during the G20 discussions: "The best that we can do - and by scripture - is to pray. Pray for those who are in authority as the bible tells us all authority is God-given."
Meanwhile, at least 160 police officers have been injured during violent clashes outside the summit.

While Owen had urged his congregation last weekend to pray for a quite weekend, he said he told Premier he wasn't disappointed their prayers weren't answered: "God doesn't always answer our prayers with a 'yes' and a 'amen'.
"We never know God's will, God's plan. We now changed our prayer from specifically praying for a whole peaceful weekend to pray for specific things now. For peace of course, for peaceful protests as that's mainly what's going on -these unpeaceful protests.
Speaking about what his pray-points are concerning the discussions, he said he believed climate- change would be discussed would be praying regarding that.
The German Chancellor has said most countries at the G20 summit remain committed to reducing greenhouse gases despite US president Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.
