Franklin Graham has responded to the Prime Minister's comments on the urgency of the climate crisis, saying that time is running out on God's judgement.
Writing on Twitter the US evangelist warned that we are "one minute to midnight" in regards to "God's clock" and his judgement for those who do not accept Jesus Christ.
It comes in response to comments made by the UK Prime Minister at the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow on Monday. Addressing world leaders on the urgency of the climate crisis, Boris Johnson said it is now "one minute to midnight on the doomsday clock" in the race to prevent global heating from surpassing a critical threshold.
Following the speech, Franklin Graham tweeted: "@BorisJohnson said we are 'one minute to midnight' as it relates to climate change. I believe we're one minute to midnight - not regarding climate change, but on God's clock, when he will bring judgment on those who have rejected him & his son, Jesus Christ."

The Christian preacher stated on Facebook that climate change is "nothing new" and is a display of God's wrath towards humanity - citing a number of Biblical references including the Great Flood and Egypt's seven years of drought and famine in the book of Genesis.
"The G20 Summit's big focus was on climate change. If we have an unusually warm summer, they say climate change is to blame. If we have a harsh winter, it's due to climate change... Climate change is nothing new - the Bible records it over 4,000 years ago. God brought his judgment on the wickedness and evil that had overtaken the world through a great flood," Graham said.
He continued by highlighting the sovereignty of God and warned those who have rejected "him and his son, Jesus Christ" to get ready.
"I'm often asked if we are getting close to the return of Jesus Christ. No man knows the day or the hour, but I believe we are getting close. You'd better be ready," he added.
