Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) are set to bring the God Loves You Tour to Manchester in October 2026, BGEA has announced.
The free gospel event, aimed at families, will be held at Co-op Live, the UK’s largest entertainment arena.
The tour, which has visited multiple cities across the UK since 2022, comes as Manchester continues to recover from recent tragedies, including a synagogue attack that left two people dead and several others wounded.
BGEA’s Rapid Response Team was deployed to the city following the incident.
"Manchester is a vibrant city where people from many nations live and work together. Amidst this diversity and our differences, there is one unifying hope for all—God’s Son, Jesus Christ," said Reji Varghese, a local pastor. "The upcoming God Loves You Tour is a powerful opportunity to share His love, bring healing, and transform lives across our city."
This will be the ninth UK stop for the tour, which has previously held events in London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, and South Wales.
"We bring a message of hope for all people," said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of BGEA. "We want to share the Good News that God loves and cares for the people of this great city and has a plan and a purpose for their lives."
BGEA will also offer training sessions for Christians in Manchester who want to learn more about sharing their faith, and will provide transport for churches bringing groups to the event.
In June, Graham preached to a crowd of 17,000 at ExCeL London, with hundreds responding to his message.
RELGIOUS FREEDOM FUND LAUNCHED IN UK
Last year, Graham announced the creation of the Billy Graham Defence Fund, which aims to support religious freedom in the UK.
Speaking to Premier Christian News in August, Justin Arnot from BGEA said that discussions are still being had, but that the new fund will be "making grants to organisations that do the legal work to support Christians".
He added that they are focused on what they can do "to bring greater awareness of the tensions in the religious liberty and free speech face for police officers" and that "maybe the authorities are part of those solutions".
The fund will offer a range of legal resources to help believers continue practicing and sharing their faith openly.
Its launch follows Graham’s 2020 UK preaching tour, which faced strong opposition and saw several venues cancel his bookings.
BGEA later took legal action, citing freedom of speech and religion, and successfully overturned six venue challenges.
