Two weeks after breaking his back in a skateboarding accident, award-winning Christian music artist Forrest Frank is thanking God for miraculously healing his back injury.

The 30-year-old Frank shared the update with his TikTok followers. He claims to be completely pain-free after a frightening accident where he slipped off his skateboard, landing on his lower back, resulting in multiple fractures.

On July 19th, Frank posted on TikTok what appears to be a video from an outside home camera of the fall.

“It was just a casual session with my 2-year-old, so I didn’t even think to put a helmet on (hindsight is 20/20),” he wrote in the caption. “[I’m] thankful to God that it wasn’t any worse.”

Frank confirmed that he had multiple fractures to L3  and L4, referring to the third and fourth lumbar vertebrae in the lower back.

“Will be lying in bed for a while,” he continued in the caption and apologized to his wife, Grace.

Two weeks later, Frank says that he realized that he was healed after waking up without putting on his back brace and picking up his son, Bodie. This prompted him to order an urgent X-ray, and it revealed that he had “complete healing” in his back.

In his Aug. 2 caption, Frank wrote, “I’m pretty much convinced God would’ve healed me day 1 from all these prayers, but He wanted these songs & this testimony come to life. Regardless, I’m here for it all…ruined for the ordinary. THANK YOU JESUS.”

A few days into his healing, Frank revealed that he wrote a song inspired by his injury. He teased the song, saying the outro was the most encouraging.  The lyrics are  “I won’t fear no past/My path, I’ll just keep moving straight ‘cause God’s got my back/even when I fall or get attacked/ ‘cause God’s got my back.”

The track, titled “God’s Got My Back,” was released on July 28, 2025.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, most spinal fractures heal in three months when surgery isn’t needed.
