Former Archbishop takes up Lords seat

Dr Rowan Williams has taken up his seat in the House of Lords. The former Archbishop of Canterbury left his position at Lambeth Palace last month. He's been invited to sit as an independent cross-bench peer and takes up the title Lord Williams of Oystermouth.

The Bishop of Exeter Rt Revd Michael Langrish is sitting in the House of Lords this week.
