The well-loved actor David Suchet is set to read the entire Gospel of Mark at St Paul's Cathedral in March.
Suchet - best known for his role as Hercule Poirot - will perform a dramatic reading of the Gospel on 28 March.
Tickets to the event are free and can be reserved on St Paul's Cathedral's website.
Suchet, a practising Anglican, has previously recorded the New International Version of the Bible in its entirety. 'The Complete NIV Audio Bible: Read by David Suchet' has sold over 25,000 copies across the world since its release in 2014.
At the time of the recording Suchet said: "I had a conversion experience that began in 1986 and I felt for many years that I wanted to put my voice to the Bible. Recording the Bible has fulfilled a 27 year ambition.
"What is surprising about reading the Bible out loud is that it says over and over again 'Hear the word of the Lord' not 'Read the word of the Lord'. It is my prayer that everyone hearing my reading will find that it is fresh and think: 'Gosh! This is fantastic!'"
