Dante Bowe has posted a video of himself singing a song he wrote for those who need encouragement during difficult situations.
The video posted on Monday showed Bowe sitting at a piano and singing the slow-paced inspirational song.
The caption read: "I wrote this for anyone who's had hard couple of months. Hold on"
Lyrics from the faith-filled song are as follows:
Hold on, hold on, hold on and don't let go.
The author of our future is still in control.
Fighting battles can get hard, oh my God, just hold on, and don't let go.
Just hold on and don't let go.
If you're looking for miracles, they're out there wait and see.
Sometimes you have to lose it all to make room for bigger things.
But fight back with only your heart pointed towards God.
That's all I know, if you can just hold on.
La la la la la la la la la la
Take a step and just trust in God
Bowe's song comes after the Grammy award-winning Christian singer had some hard times himself. In September, Maverick City Music announced it has put its relationship with Bowe on hold.
The US contemporary worship collective said it made the decision after Bowe exhibited "behaviour that is inconsistent with our core values and beliefs".
It has not yet officially been revealed what kind of behaviour led to the group pausing its relationship with one of its lead singers.
In an Instagram post, Bowe said he was "sincerely sorry" for his offensive behaviour and thanked Maverick City Music for its support. However, the apology has since been deleted.
Bowe announced in September that he would be taking a break from posting on social media. Some posts on his Instagram since then have been posted by his team.
The singer, who has had a solo career, independent of Maverick City Music, is currently on a US tour.
