The alternative social media site has already attracted 100,000 users in a month.
Facegloria was set up for the country's 42 million Evangelicals who could find the original version of the site too 'sinful'.
Instead of the ability to 'like' posts users can click 'Amen' instead.
Atilla Barros, one of the web designers, said: "On Facebook you see a lot of violence and pornography.
"That's why we thought of creating a network where we could talk about God, and love and to spread His word," he said in The Sunday Telegraph.
