Speaking on Premier's News Hour from the event in Birmingham, Colin Bloom, CCF executive director, said: "He spelt out a very clear message for the coming election on why people should be supporting the Conservatives over the other parties."
Tax cuts, 100,000 new homes for first-time buyers and ringfenced NHS spending are three of the promises David Cameron has made if the Conservatives win the next election.
The prime minister wants to raise the tax-free personal allowance to £12,500 pounds.
He also told the Conservative party conference he would abolish zero-hours contracts and bring in a new British bill of rights to replace the European equivalent.
Cameron warned voters against supporting UKIP, adding: "And here's a thought for you. On 7th May you could go to bed with Nigel Farage and wake up with Ed Miliband."
Accusing Labour of "spreading complete and utter lies" by suggesting he was selling off the NHS, the prime minister said: "How dare they suggest I would put that at risk for other people's children?"
Mr Cameron has often spoken of his first-hand experience of the NHS while his son, Ivan, who died in 2009 at the age of six, was being cared for; again praising the NHS on this occasion.
He said Labour did not understand that the country "can only have a strong NHS if you have a strong economy".
