Christian teachers question plans to replace GCSEs

Plans to replace GCSEs in England with the new Baccalaureate have been criticised by MPs.

The Commons Education Committee say while improvements are needed, ministers haven't proved their case for scrapping the qualification.

They argue exam quality could be threatened if the reforms happen too quickly.
